Memories from Ian

I will always have fond memories of Terry. To me he was a gentle, kind man who was happy to sit and watch us from his arm chair as we played games when we were all children. I think I can speak for both myself and my sister, Faye, in saying that neither of us had a much of a father figure of our own and that we both greatly looked up to and admired Terry.  I know for Faye he filled that role and for that I will always be grateful to him.

For me I know that he was a good male roll model that I wish I had been able to spend more time with him over the years, to perhaps learn more from him as I’m sure he had much more he could share. I will forever miss chatting to him in the garden over a cooking bbq perhaps talking about motorbikes or motorhomes, in his workshop about whatever project he was working on, or just over a cup of tea while he sat in his chair in the lounge.

I am sure somewhere he is sat on a Honda Goldwing or driving a winebaygo down a coastal road into a beautiful sunset!

Rest in peace Terry, I will sorely miss you mate.
