I first met Terry while I was working for Poll & Withy in the 1980's. I was put on kne of the many fitting teams. Whilst chatting to Terrg he told me of hus love of motorcycles. Over a period of time I persuaded him to sell me one of him motorcycles, a Norman 250cc which I restored over a period of time and used it on a number of VMCC runs.

On one of those Friday club chats I asked if he would like to join me and my wife auto jumble at Kempton Park. He agreed and off we went. We arrived at Kempton Park only to find that I had got the wrong date, so we finished up going to Guildford Shopping with the ladies....Not quite the day we trip we had in mind.
